1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small item of data stored by your browser. Our own cookie remembers your privacy choice. Google and Meta advertising measurement cookies work only with specific permission. There is no separate statistics or personalised advertising category.
2. Cookies used by this website
The table below shows our own cookie and typical cookies for authorised Google Ads and Meta measurement. Google creates cookies according to operation, ad clicks and browser restrictions, so not all may appear; name suffixes may vary. Meta _fbp and _fbc cookies typically last 90 days; _fbc may appear following an ad click. Meta may also use cookies on its other domains under its policy. Google _gcl_ cookies typically last 90 days.
| Cookie / provider | Purpose | Duration | Permission |
|---|---|---|---|
| knkg_consent KNKG Clean | Choice, time, version and random receipt ID | 180 days | Essential |
| _gcl_au | Advertising conversion measurement | Typically 90 days | Separate consent |
| _gcl_aw, _gcl_dc and other _gcl_* | Linking advertising clicks to conversions | Typically 90 days | Separate consent |
| _fbp, _fbc Meta (Facebook) | Linking browser and advertising clicks to conversion events | Typically 90 days | Separate consent |
3. How does the choice work?
Measurement starts disabled on your first visit. Essential only refuses Google Ads and Meta measurement; Accept all permits measurement by both. Settings shows the essential and optional measurement categories separately. Advertising measurement is not selected by default.
Google and Meta tracking does not load without permission. Browsing, reading about services and quote requests work without measurement consent. Scrolling, continuing to browse or sending a request does not constitute consent.
We remember your choice for 180 days and ask again if measurement purposes or notice version change. A minimal server record documents your choice; section 4 of the Privacy notice explains its contents and retention. If recording consent fails, measurement stays off. Refusal remains valid even if technical logging fails.
4. Changing and withdrawing consent
Open Cookie settings in the footer or on this page at any time. To withdraw, select Essential only or disable measurement and save. The page reloads to stop previously loaded tracking code.
We try to delete accessible first-party Google Ads and Meta cookies. We cannot access cookies on Google’s or Meta’s other domains; remove these in your browser. Manually deleting our cookies shows the choice again on the next visit. If storage is blocked, your choice applies only to the currently opened page.
5. Ki kezeli az adatokat?
The controller is KNKG Clean Hungary Kft. (8000 Székesfehérvár, Géza utca 88. 1/2; info@knkgclean.com). Optional advertising measurement providers are Google Ireland Limited and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited. They may process technical and event data, including international transfers and combination with data from their services. The Privacy notice explains processing, other providers and your rights.
First-party website measurement
Only after you allow the measurement category do we count phone-link clicks, successful quote requests and successful callback requests. A phone click does not prove that a call or business agreement took place. Measurement is based on your consent; all contact options work without it.
We keep daily aggregate counters for up to 180 days: event type, selected language, service page and broad source category (such as Google advertising or a direct visit). Counters contain no name, email, phone number, IP address, visitor ID, form text, full URL or advertising click ID. Expired aggregates are deleted on the next counting operation.
With measurement enabled, sessionStorage under knkg:attribution:v1 retains only the broad source category, known landing-page service category and language for the tab session. We delete it on withdrawal. For successful enquiries we may also include the source category and landing page in the company notification email. We do not save full referrer URLs or raw campaign parameters.
Measurement permission covers our own website measurement as well as Google Ads and Meta. Because this is a new purpose, we request a fresh choice instead of using your previous one. You can withdraw consent at any time through Cookie settings.
Language preference
We remember your chosen language in your browser’s localStorage under knkg-language for future visits. This stores only your requested language preference and is not used for advertising or measurement. You can remove it by clearing browser site data.
6. Local quote request draft
Completed form fields are temporarily saved in your browser’s sessionStorage under knkg:quote-draft:v1 so you can continue after changing pages or going back in the same tab. This local draft is not itself sent to the server, Google or Meta. It is deleted after successful submission or with Clear saved details. Drafts older than 24 hours are deleted on next access and are not restored. Session storage is tied to the browser tab session; closing or restoring it depends on browser behaviour.
